Sham – Roxz Volleyball

Sham-Roxz Volleyball Club has been in the area since 2008. We started out by taking one team to AAU nationals in Orlando. We have grown in many ways since then and finished the 2011 season with 9 teams.

Here at Sham-Roxz , we are committed to challenge each athlete and prepare them for their future on and off the court. We pride ourselves in our skilled coaching staff,organizational ability, exceptional communication with players, parents and coaches.

We have players who have come from as far south as Atlantis and north as Daytona. We are fortunate to have coveted coaches who return year after year to keep our club strong. Sham-Roxz Volleyball Club has helped develop volleyball skills, self-confidence, and sportsmanship and friendships in girls from numerous area schools. 2012 MLK Invitational Results:

Shamroxz show a strong start to the season with:

18s team, led by Coach Krissy Schmidt, taking 1st place in the 18 Club division.
They went undefeated in match play.
16s team, (coached by Coach Tony Glessner) came in 5th out of 35 teams in the 16 Club division.
14s team started out the season playing up an age level in the 15 open division.
They are coached by Coach Joe Keenan.
12 Jamie placed 5th in Gold
12 Dani 5th in Bronze
13 Brett placed 9th in Gold (out of 42 teams)
13 Youngs placed 3rd in Bronze
14 Becca placed 3rd in Silver
15 Julian/Becky placed 5th in Gold

A Word from Club Director Joe Keenan:

I don’t know if it was me but
I saw a lot of GREEN at the MLK!

All our teams did very well for our first outing!

A big shout out goes to Coach Krissy and her 18’s for bringing home the GOLD!

Coaches and Players, you’re doing a great job! It was apparent when I went from court to court, gym to gym, to watch all the teams compete.

Also, it was great to see the parents sporting their ShamRoxz Wear!

The President’s weekend tourney is around the corner and all of our teams will be at that tournament!!

Remember the President's Weekend tournament is a 3 day tournament for all teams.

Hotel deadlines have passed for that tournament.

Please book NOW for Atlanta.

We must have a minimum of 4 rooms per team booked at the
THS hotels blocked off for Shamroxz in order to enter the team. We need 5 more rooms booked.

Sham-Roxz Volleyball has earned a Gold Seal from the Florida Region of USA Volleyball for the 2011-2012 Season!

“We are a member club of the Florida Region of USA Volleyball. As a player you may stop any unwanted contact from a club representative simply by asking (either verbally or in writing) that all contact cease. Any player believing a club representative of any Florida Region Volleyball club has been intimidating, harassing, or acted inappropriately in any manner of contact or recruiting should contact the Florida Region office at (352) 742-0080.”
